Our annual fall fundraiser concludes with a celebratory Glow Run! ALL students, regardless of financial participation in the program, will participate in the glow run. The Glow Run will take place inside the gym during the grade-level Specials period.
Students should wear comfortable athletic clothing and shoes. We encourage students to wear a white shirt decorated with glow in the dark tape/fabric paint or a shirt in the class color (either are completely optional!). Apex will provide glow in the dark face paint and glow bracelets that will be applied right before the run. Listed below are the color glow bracelets for each class, if students would like to decorate a shirt in the class color (or they can use any color). We do ask that student not bring additional glow in the dark accessories (unless in their class color), as the class color will be used to track classes during the run.
Volunteers are needed to assist their child's class pre-race, during the race, and post-race. Given the extremely tight schedule, volunteers must commit to the entire time of the shift. While there is no limit on the number of volunteers per class, we do need at least 4 volunteers per class. If you are available to sign up for additional shifts outside of your child’s run time, we would love to have you! Just sign up for any teacher and leave a comment of "help where needed." Volunteers should wear comfortable athletic clothes and shoes and are encouraged to dress festively (glow in the dark shirt/accessories). See the list below for your child’s class color.
